This month, I stand not only as an advocate but as a voice for those who are silenced, for those whose innocence has been shattered, and for those whose scars may never fully heal.

Child abuse takes many forms, from physical violence to emotional trauma, neglect, and exploitation. It knows no bounds, it is hidden behind closed doors, and is masked by shame and fear. 

This month, we raise awareness not only to acknowledge the prevalence of child abuse but also to underscore the need for our response, and the need for prevention education in our community and in our schools.

As we come together this month, let us renew our commitment to the well-being of our children. Let us be the voices of change, the advocates for hope, and the guardians of their innocence.
